[Keynote] Radio-Podcast, virtuous liaisons. Sharing RTBF's experience ()

CLUB TDF - Conf Awards

RTBF’s mission and ambition is to reach and interest all Belgians, every day and every week! Its audio strategy, part of a transmedia group strategy, is based on 3 principles:
Do not abandon radio to the detriment of podcasts
Don’t contrast radio and native podcasts, but combine them so that they are mutually reinforcing

if content is king, distrubution is queen
Experience sharing with Frédéric Gérand, Head of Audio at RTBF, the Belgian Public Service media group.

(Hyper). Comment adapter l'expérience aux nouveaux supports d'écoute ? ()

FORUM AUDIENS - LAB RADIO

All over the world, the omnipotent position of terrestrial broadcasting is slowly but surely ending. Since the advent of the Internet and the historical technological developments of recent years, radio has, in front of it, new distribution channels (webradio, podcast, music and video streaming platforms, voice assistants, TV, FAST. . . ). So many channels, so many challenges to deliver the expected experience, to mark its territory by distributing its flows as efficiently as possible. A rich and exciting exchange with Laurent Hongne (in charge of radio development at SECOM), Régis Verbiguié (CEO of Radioplayer France) and Benoit Bricq (in charge of audio distribution and innovation at RTBF).

What strategies for native podcasting on radio? ()

CLUB TDF - Conf Awards

For radio professionals, the native podcast broadcast on the radio is a bit like the marriage of carp and rabbit. It must be remembered that the podcast claims more freedom in its length, style, editorial. And sometimes we're a long way from the standards of radio. Nevertheless, the native podcast can prove to be a formidable tool to carry the colors of a brand, engage a new audience, extend a broadcast content. This debate, moderated by Xavier Eutrope of the INA Media Review, will shed light on the native podcast strategies of radio stations with the participation of Ghislain Thomas (Groupe M6), Léa Lebec (RCF) and Frédéric Gérand (RTBF).

Meetup Podcast + Radio = Love ()

FORUM AUDIENS - LAB RADIO

During this participatory workshop, 40 podcasters and radio stations will explore avenues for collaboration and cross-business based on 4 main themes: audiences, content, revenue and distribution. Four groups of 10 people will be formed and will exchange, in turn, on each of the 4 themes for 15 minutes. A contact person for each theme will lead the discussions. At the beginning of each round, the main ideas presented previously on the theme will be summarized by the facilitator. At the end of the 4 rounds, the animators will return the main ideas presented (5 minutes each) Prior to the discussions, the ACPM, partner of this Meetup, will offer a 10-minute presentation.

What future for music radios in the era of streaming? ()

CLUB TDF - Conf Awards

In the face of international streaming players, have radio stations, especially musicals, taken sufficient measures to face this new and fierce competition? One might think so even if the fight is (very) unequal. Stations have to deal with special regulations. This is not the case with platforms. This confrontation adds an additional level of difficulty for French radio stations, which, as we suspect, have not said their last word. Tristan Jurgensen (CEO of Fun Radio and RTL2), Bruno Dubois (Deputy Director of Music Radio at Lagardère in charge of Europe2) and Julien Fregonara (CEO of Espace Group) will share their vision.
