Biographie

Virginie Girod is a historian, writer and specialist in Roman antiquity, the history of women and sexuality, and holds a Doctorate in History from the Sorbonne. A regular guest expert on the Secrets d’Histoire show presented by Stéphane Bern on France 3, she is also the deputy editor-in-chief of the special series of the magazine of the same name. Each week, listeners will find two portraits, in two episodes each, of Au Coeur de l’Histoire (Monday to Thursday), as well as a bonus episode (aired on Fridays). Virginie Girod has been on Europe 1 on Saturdays and Sundays between 3pm and 4pm since the start of the school year.
